This carving was inspired by the famous Greenock comedian, Chic Murray.
He told the joke about the fella who bumped into a pole vaulter at the Olympic Games and asked
him "Are you a pole vaulter"The athelete replied "No I'm German, but how did you know my
name was Walter". I made a change.The pole vaulter here is from the old Russia.
