Alma Toilet Plunger Superbowl

Every winter, the little village of Alma just north of Guelph, Ontario becomes the centre of the sporting world in Canada, nay North America, as thousands of fans gather for the Superbowl of Toilet Plunging.
Local worthies construct, flood and maintain an outdoor ice rink on which toilet bowls are line up at two ends.
The object is to hurl toilet plungers at the aforementioned bowls, landing as close as possible to them.
Fun, food and frivolity is the watchword of the day.I hope I have captured the competitive spirit of the event.
